2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup Kellogg's® All-Bran Hi-Fibre® cereal
1 ½ cups warm milk
⅓ cup margarine or butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
syrup and fresh fruit, as desired
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and Kellogg's® All-Bran Hi-Fibre® cereal.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the milk, butter and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour and beat until blended.
- Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions or until the steaming stops and the waffle is golden brown. Serve hot with syrup or fruit, as desired.
